Anything Goes – call for comments

by Teri

cowboy.jpgUmm – can you all hear me back there?

Hi! I’m hunting for comments. Well – not comments just for the sake of comments, but suggestions, ideas – conversation – talk to me, my people! I’m a writer in need of some feedback! Commiserate with me!

Is anyone out there or am I howling into a www vacuum? I’m not much for the ‘strong, silent type’ so c’mon – open up. What are you waiting for? An invitation? Consider yourself cordially invited.

What are you writing?

What am I currently writing? Aside from my daily banter. Which sometimes leaves me going… what to banter about!? I am also taking on the daunting task of editing my book, one printed out page at a time. I printed out my work from the computer so i could read it in full as though i were just a reader and have my notebook in hand.. I feel like I am taking my book and tearing it to shreds! ooo the pain! I must admit it hurts to watch the words you create change and disapear entirely! I watched my first few pages transform and took a break because I just… sometimes you just need it!
Aside from that i havent been writing like I should *bad bad!* Sad isnt it.

    Oh, yeah, I’m a writer, I should be writing…

I have two ideas percolating in my brain, and as soon as I get a handle on one set of characters, that’ll be the book I start this summer. I’m also enjoying my personal “Summer Fiction Festival” and blogging about the books I’m reading and what they’re teaching me about writing.

Samantha - editing a book? Oh so painful - I don’t envy you that. But - really - how “should” we be writing? You seem to be doing VERY well!

illiah - Starting a book! Good for you! Come back and tell us how it’s going.

Thanks for commenting! I appreciate it very much. ~~

    Hi there:

Just found your website and blog. Nice! My first novel will be published sometime late this summer. I’m writing sporadically on book two (saga of five-nothing like a little arrogance) and full blown on a first world war novel, and thats’ been really rough becauswe I find I’m working at least 40 hours a week marketing for my books’ release.

Hope you have a great week writing…

Hi Marge - thanks for reading and for commenting! Keep me posted on the book release, ok? Support, by any other name…:)
