Cross-Genre-zation

This officially means we’re on third base and going for the home run. (And if any of you turn that into sexual innuendo and you’re not an erotica writer, then I will be very cranky with you.)

Which brings on today’s idea.

Just because you’re writing in the erotica genre doesn’t mean you can’t add in humour. Or, just because you’re writing in the action genre, that doesn’t mean you can’t add in some romance.

Try spreading yourself out a bit genre-wise today and add in something a little less stereotypically [insert your genre here]. It might just end up being fun.

Remember, to have accomplished the minimum of what you need to do each day, all you have to get to is 40008 words for the day. And then you’re done if you wish.

Now I’m off to work on mine.
