Muscial Monday - Vertical Horizon
It’s Monday already, and we all bow our heads as we mourn the sad passing of another weekend…
I don’t know about you, but my weekend went by too fast, and the next weekend is likely to be the same. Next Thursday I will be heading out to go to a writer’s conference and then visit friends on the coast. This weekend will be just as busy as the last - if not more so - as we get everything set to go.
I’m even getting my hair cut for the occasion. *gasp* (My hair hasn’t been cut above my shoulders in years.)
But you aren’t here to listen to me jabber on about my hair. On to the music!
Vertical Horizon was one of those bands that was always on the fringes of the bubble of my world. I didn’t actively follow them, but when I heard them, I always liked their music. Now in the days of iTunes and mp3 players, it’s easy to find the new and old artists we love(d) and I have VH’s songs in my player.
I hope you all enjoy today’s selection and find it inspiring for your writing.
The Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning)
He’s Everything You Want
I used to listen to this song repeatedly in my unrequited love-ridden teenage days. Thankfully, I still like it even without the angst in my life. Haha.
Radio interview and Forever (Acoustic Verstion)
I decided to go with this video that includes the interview because I like getting to know the people behind the music.
And there you have it.
I hope you all have a great Monday and a great rest of the week. I’ll be back tomorrow with my ‘contemplating’ prompt.
