Musical Monday

highheel.jpgHello and happy Monday, everyone!

I was a bit stuck for a theme this week, to be honest. What did I want to write about (yes, I do some of the prompts, too) this week? What would be inspiring? What moves me and makes me feel things…?

Then it occurred to me: Dance!

I love dancing. I don’t care what time it is, what I’m wearing or how it looks – I love dancing.

I truly believe dancing is one of the most beautiful, seductive, heartfelt way human beings can express themselves. It can be random, it can be planned, and/or it can be the most moving, sensual thing you have ever seen.

There are so many types of dance, it’s hard for me to believe that someone can’t find at least one type that they enjoy.

I’ve picked out some great videos to help inspire you today. I hope you like them as much as I do and they get you going on your writing.

OK Go - Here It Goes Again
Okay, this isn’t a song about dancing, but it has some of the best dancing I have ever seen performed. I absolutely love it…and would never try this at the gym.

Do You Only Wanna Dance – Mya
By far, one of the sexiest dance songs out there and put to scenes from the movie it’s from.

Center Stage – Final Dance Scene
Center Stage is a movie about a ballet school, to put it simply. This final dance scene is where a director finally gets to ‘go against tradition’ and feature his ‘pop ballet’. I absolutely love this final scene. The rest of the movie is worth watching, too.

    You don’t really OWN those shoes, do you, JM? (actually, they are something Lyric would sell and Trevor would get all hot and bothered by. But then again, that boy gets hot and bothered by pretty much anything.)

    I have big feet, so I doubt they’d make something of that in my size. Hehe.

    As long as I’ve made one male hot and bothered today, my day is complete.
