Thursday Thirteen Writing Prompts

Hello and happy Thursday Thirteen, all. As per usual, I will be giving you a list of thirteen prompts in all shapes and sizes. They could be a first line of dialogue, a plot idea, or something else. I hope you enjoy and pick and choose as you please.

If there are any other types of prompts that you would find useful, let me know anytime.

Thirteen Writing Prompts

1.”Buy one, get one free!”
2. “I’ve never been in that position. I don’t know what I would do if I were him.”
3. Write about the opposite season you are living in right now.
4. Write a sensual scene involving food.
5. “Believe it or not…”
6. Look up the first word that pops into your mind using Google images. Write about a picture(s) you find.
7. “I’ve been rejected.”
8. Use body language as a way for your characters to communicate.
9. “This is the time to step up and show people what we can do.”
10. Start putting together a ‘guide for frugal living’.
11. “I can’t believe it.”
12. How would telepathy change the world?
13. “Kindly piss off.”
